There are generally two seasons in Indonesia. One is the hot season. The other is the rainy season. Our city (as well as many other cities in Indonesia) was flooded during the rainy season.

Typically you see motorcycles everywhere. During the rainy season motorcycles are replaced with innertubes and boats in some parts of town.

Often times people's personal belongings have to be removed from the home when flooding occurs.
